Angelina Velis is a Los Angeles-based editor, director, and writer. She is a recent graduate of The American Film Institute Conservatory with a Master of Fine Arts in Editing, and she is an Avid-certified specialist.

Angelina grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film in 2024. She was a part of the UTLA Semester in Los Angeles program in 2022, where she lived, studied, and worked in Los Angeles. Velis took on two internships at Citizen Jones and Aggregate Films.

Throughout her filmmaking journey, she has received awards and accolades for her films, including Official Selection at the San Antonio Film Festival for “The Immaculate Deception” and 1st place at the Pegasus Film Festival for “Boys Will Be Boys”.

During Angelina’s time at AFI, she has edited seven films that can be found on the “Work” page. Angelina is working on multiple films at different stages right now and is in development for a script of her own. She is always looking for work, so please contact her via the “Contact” page.
